Momo Madness

I've wanted to learn how to make mo mo's for awhile now. In my previous host family, I had been so lucky to have a help day in the kitchen where I got to see how daal bhat was made, the typical Nepali meal eaten twice a day. Mo Mo's, however, are a bit more complicated. They resemble steam dumplings with either a meat or vegetable filling, and take preparation. Our hostel cook, who I spend much time with but whose name I still don't know, was willing to have a cooking day with my swedish roommate and I where she would teach us. She prepared the ingredients, we rolled them up inside the dough, she finnished steaming them. We made around 50, which is a bit much for the four of us eating dinner that night, so - more mo mo's tomorrow.
