Our first stop on our road trip to California was the Grand Canyon, a sight everyone in the family had wanted to see for years. As per usual, we woke up early to see the sun rise over the canyon, resulting in freezing temperatures before the sun finally made its arrival. In the morning which we spent here, we saw so much, yet so little of what the canyon offers. It seemed almost pointless to me to attempt to capture how far the valley spread, as it seemed to go on forever.
